These colors are so cheery and modern, I can see them looking perfect in a mostly-white bedroom (hmm, maybe this is the kind of quilt I need to be making for my bed...) I see the finish a couple of posts up, and it looks amazing with its blue binding. Happy Thanksgiving to you! It is 120" x 130"! I ended up buying a Grace quilt frame in the largest size so I could quilt it with my home machine. It worked, but I ended up doing the borders off the frame. That quilt was so hard to maneuver, but I love it and it is great to sleep under.Teresa S.https://www.blogger.com/profile/08975526239096347244noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-983525468027485560.post-82978434050665412462013-11-20T18:05:34.182-06:002013-11-20T18:05:34.182-06:00This quilt looks quite different thanks to the cha...This quilt looks quite different thanks to the change in colours, it's beautiful. You could section it and do it as a QAYG if you haven't already begun quilting it! Marti Mitchell has a book Machine Quilting in Sections. It s a great book for us who quilt on our domestic machines. Your quilt top could easily be sectioned into 2 or 4 sections for ease. Anyways it is a beauty since you have great talent in fabric and color coordination!Joanie's Trendy Quiltshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01392441529661534173noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-983525468027485560.post-89195617091675673762013-11-18T18:26:13.673-06:002013-11-18T18:26:13.673-06:00Looks great! Kudos to you for being able to quilt it on your home machine---I really wish I can get that figured out one of these days :) I have done two quilt patterns twice, each time with different fabrics for a completely different look. And I have done a couple of John Deere quilts and Farmall quilts, but they were each created based on the fabric I had, so they all turned out completely different as well. I think there are too many ideas and things I want to try and that keeps me from being repetitive and getting bored. But if someone specifically requested something that was a repeat in either pattern or color scheme, I'd certainly do it.
