Fall Break NTT!

Ahh...I love Fall Break!  We are having a lovely "staycation" this week, and I've been enjoying plenty of extra sewing and family time at home.  First of all, I'm so happy to report that I have finally had the time to finish up my Unruly quilt pattern.  It is for sale in my Craftsy and Etsy shops. This one has NO small pieces (really!) and is fat quarter friendly.  You'll be surprised at how easy it is.  I hope you'll check it out!

I also owe you a winner from my Scattered Maple Leaves project, and the winning comment was number 59, Soma Acharya!  Congrats, Soma!  I'll be contacting you by email soon to get your address.

Just wanted to let you know that I love your fall quilt! The background is so perfect for those bright colours and the binding ties it all so well.

Well, even with finally publishing my Unruly pattern, I have been able to get lots of sewing time in this week.  I've been on a bit of a mission lately to use up my fabric bundles.  I always enjoy buying bundles, but sometimes they sit longer in my stash than they should because I enjoy mixing fabrics so much myself.  I figured the time was right to finally do something with my Kate Spain Sunnyside fat eighth bundle I've had for months.

I've been wanting to do a snowball and nine patch quilt for awhile, but I just had to mentally prepare myself for all of those small pieces.  The blocks finish at only six inches, and usually I shy away from this many two inch pieces.  The top is all finished up, and I'm planning to get this one completely finished before I have to go back to school on Monday.  So far, I really love it, which is a wonderful change of pace after finishing my last one!

So, let's get down to business with last week's features!  Katie at Good Golly Ginger finished up her Christmas medallion quilt, and I love it.  It is getting to be that time of year, isn't it?

Tanya Quilts in CO shared her beautiful stars quilt.  The scrappy feel of the fabrics is so fun!

and last, but not least, Nero's Post and Patch showed off this fun triangle quilt top.  What a great layout!

You all give me so much inspiration week after week!  I can't wait to see what you have going on this week!  Let's party!
